For AI assistants

Use Tiana & Co.'s free checks in ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity

Add one address to your AI assistant, then ask the way you would ask a friend: "Does my kids' raincoat need a CPC?" The assistant runs the same free checks as this site and shows you what they found.

The answers come from fixed rules over government and marketplace sources. Each one names the rule or list it rests on, the date that source was read, and a link to your free plan on this site.

The address to add

https://www.tiana-co.com/api/mcp

No account, no sign-in and no key. Choose "no sign-in" (or "none") if the assistant asks how to connect.

To be sure the assistant uses these checks, start your question with "Using Tiana & Co.,".

What you can ask

  1. 01Certificate

Which safety certificate does my product need?

"Do I need a CPC or a GCC for a wooden toy?"

It answers from US federal rules, with the rule each answer rests on. If a detail decides it, the assistant can ask you the same questions the free check asks.

  2. 02Marketplaces

Can I sell this on Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop or Etsy?

"What do Amazon and Etsy need for kids' pajamas?"

It covers Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Etsy, stores and your own site. Each line is numbered to its source page and the day it was read.

  3. 03Supplier

    Supplier on a blacklist?

"Check Acme Lamp Factory before I pay the deposit."

It gives match, possible match or no match on each list, with the list's size and date. It checks the name as you typed it. It is not the dated record you can show a broker.

  4. 04This week

What changed for sellers this week?

"Did any marketplace change its rules for toys this week?"

It lists this week's changes with their sources and the day each was checked. It also names the pages that could not be checked.

  5. 05Customs hold

    Shipment stuck at customs?

"CBP is holding my shipment. What kind of hold is it, and how long do I have?"

Your assistant asks you up to three questions about what the notice says. Then you get the hold type, the deadline or where to find it on the notice, and the documents usually needed, each with its source.

How to add it

Claude

  1. Go to Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Click "Add custom connector".
  3. Paste the address above. If it asks how to sign in, choose No sign-in. Then click Add.
  4. In a chat, click +, then Connectors, and turn it on.

Works on Free, Pro and Max plans (the Free plan allows one custom connector). On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds it under Organization settings. Steps from Anthropic's help, read 13 Oct 2026.

ChatGPT

  1. Go to Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins).
  2. Select +, then "Add custom MCP server".
  3. Give it a name, paste the address above under Connection, and choose no authentication.
  4. Read the warning, select "I understand and want to continue", then "Create as a plugin".

Your plan or workspace settings decide whether you can add one; a workspace admin may need to allow it. Steps from OpenAI's help, read 13 Oct 2026.

Perplexity

  1. On the web, go to Account settings, then Connectors.
  2. Click "+ Custom connector" and choose Remote.
  3. Give it a name, paste the address above, and choose None for authentication.
  4. In a thread, turn the connector on before you ask.

Works on Perplexity Pro, Max and Enterprise. Perplexity moves these menus, so the labels may differ on your screen.

What it does not do

  • —It does not classify goods, give duty or tariff rates, or tell you what to put on a customs entry. A licensed customs broker files the entry.
  • —It is not legal advice, and no answer promises that a listing will be approved or a shipment released.
  • —It does not read documents or write a response to CBP. It works out a customs hold from your answers about the notice; only the check on this site reads the notice itself, and only after you agree to send it.
  • —It gives the free answers only. Paid documents, like the supplier record or a certificate draft, are on this site.

What happens to what you ask

Your assistant can send only what each check takes: the product words and your answers, the channels, the supplier name, or your answers about a customs notice and its date. No check record is made and no account is needed.

When the built-in word list cannot place your product, the product words, and nothing else, go to Anthropic's Claude API to suggest a product type, the same as on this site. A supplier name is checked against the government lists stored on this site and looked up in GLEIF's public company registry, whose answer is kept for 24 hours so it is not asked twice.

Your conversation itself stays with your assistant's company, under its own terms.
